Start with the process. Material, cross-section, length and machining requirements then determine the appropriate configuration.
Start with the finished component
A window frame, façade element and industrial support require different operations. Mark cuts, holes, slots and joints on the drawing first. This separates the tasks of the saw, CNC centre and dedicated punching or corner-joining machine.
The section determines access and clamping
External width and height are not enough. Wall thickness, open chambers, surface finish and suitable clamp contact areas also matter. For an angled cut, check the cutting diagram; for milling, check tool access and clearance from the clamps.
A separate operation or integrated production?
For repeat components, also compare material feeding, identification and production-data transfer. The selectors below help narrow the equipment category; the final configuration is checked against the actual component, lengths and batch size.
Continue by application
The links below lead to relevant programme categories. Material suitability must be explicitly confirmed for the selected model; not every machine in a category can process every material.
