PRESSTA corner crimping machines are intended for joining aluminium profiles into frame elements. Tools, crimping position and supports must match the profile and the joining system.
A cross-section drawing, details of the corner cleat and the profile system’s specified joining method. We check profile height, access to crimping points, chamber positions and tooling. The same external height does not imply identical joining conditions.
Does one tool set fit every profile?
This cannot be assumed. Knife and support positions and geometry must suit the profile and corner cleat. For several profile systems, tool changes and repeatable settings also matter. Send system details to verify a suitable configuration.

Assembly
An assembled corner is shown: two mitre-cut profiles are joined by a corner cleat in the inner chamber. Its geometry must match the profile system.
Support and clamping
The inner stop aligns the corner, and the vertical clamps press it against the table. In top view, the bright edge marks the established pressure. A retractable stop, where available, facilitates loading.
Crimping
Two groups of knives press the profile wall into the intended positions of the corner connector. This is mechanical joining; the knives do not cut off the corner.
Release
The knives retract, then the clamps release. The position and depth of indentation are determined according to the profile, corner bracket and tool.
