Preparation
The profile is supported and positioned at the required length. The illustration shows a square cut with one cutting head.

Industrial saw for 90° square cuts. The hydraulic-pneumatic blade feed from below is intended for repetitive cutting of aluminium and plastic profiles.
Technical data Ask about this model ↗Workshop cutting
In workshop cutting, we combine the cutting area, feed method and length setting. Material support and access for clamping are important for individual parts and when changing batches.
The animation explains the application principle. It is not a simulation of the motion or equipment of model GS 550 Fix.
What defines this version ↓A fixed 90° saw and a mitre saw serve different tasks. We compare the cutting capacity at the actual angle and select the required equipment together with the length stop and extraction system.
Selected data from the technical table. Multiple values mean different configurations; details are listed below.
Version details
| Data | Version |
|---|---|
| Blade diameter | 550 mm |
| Motor power | 7.5 kW (S6) |
| Cutting angle | 90° |
The values apply to the specified model or family. More values in a row mean different versions or equipment. Standard and optional equipment as well as final dimensions are confirmed for the quotation configuration.

Technology in cross-section
Explore the sequence of motions and flows. Select a phase or move the timeline slider.
The profile is supported and positioned at the required length. The illustration shows a square cut with one cutting head.
The clamps hold the workpiece against the cutting plane. The setup is adjusted to the cross-section and orientation of the profile.
The rotating blade emerges through the table slot and cuts the clamped profile from below. This illustrates the principle of an upward cut; the feed mechanism depends on the model.
The tool retracts from the material. The clamps release after the tool has withdrawn, allowing the cut piece to be removed.
Explanation of the principle with partial sections. The geometry, equipment and speed shown are not a technical simulation of a specific model. The design is verified against the drawing and manufacturer data.
